Virto/Elcan’s ScreenX line of vibratory screening machines have been extensively used in the glass and ceramics industry for many years. We have screening experience on spherical, angular, and flake glass powders with separations being made down to 10 microns. The patented multi frequency adaptor gives the machine the ability to provide extremely accurate separations. Furthermore, vibratory fluidization and the stirring and de-agglomeration of the powder bed are reached, resulting in much greater throughput capacity per square meter, better qualitative separation and increased output of undersize product in comparison with single-frequency or ultrasonic separators.

In comparison to traditional and ultrasonic separators, the patented multi-frequency adapter MFVExcite allows a ScreenX to obtain much greater screen capacity per sqm, more exact separations and a significant increase in output of the screen undersize product.

Because the fine sieve in the circular vibratory screeners is not stretched, even in the case of abrasive powders, the lifetime of screens are much longer than the stretched thin screens found in the standard and ultrasonic separators. Replacement of the mesh is simple and can be done on site in a few minutes.
